The Las Vegas Sun reports, HUD Secretary, in visit to valley, touts help for distressed homeowners.

Yesterday in Las Vegas, Secretary Donovan appeared on Nevada Public Radio’s State of Nevada to discuss the Mortgage Servicing Settlement, KNPR 88.9 FM.

Also, KNTV-ABC and KSNV-NBC ran coverage spotlighting Secretary Donovan and Attorney General Catherine Cortez-Masto’s Mortgage Servicing Settlement roundtable with local Nevadan leaders and housing advocates.

The Los Angeles Times ran, “Housing Secretary backs Homeowner Bill of Rights” and “changes may bring relief to more ‘underwater’ homeowners.

USA Today ran, “mortgage rates fall to new record lows.”

And, Secretary Shaun Donovan will testify before Congress next Tuesday regarding efforts to allow more Americans to refinance their mortgages, American Banker.
