Today, Secretary Donovan announced $42M in housing counseling grants to benefit 468 state and local organizations. The funds are expected to support hundreds of thousands of households.

The Washington Times runs “Mortgage Q&A: FHA finds way to help refinancers.”

Philly.com spotlights “Building a Better America,” a report concluding that if high-efficiency homes and buildings were applied to all buildings, the nation could reduce energy 24 percent by 2030.

And, according to the Washington Post, a Virginal based group says investing in energy-efficient buildings now could cut the average Virginia family’s electricity bills by about $503 annually by 2030.
