Secretary Shaun Donovan on Starting Point with Soledad O'Brien, CNN

Today in New York, Secretary Donovan sat down with MSNBC’s Martin Bashir to discuss the biggest joint federal state settlement in the history of the country and how it directly impacts American homeowners and the broader economy.

The Secretary Donovan also met with CNN’s Soledad O’Brien to discuss the mortgage settlement and other HUD programs that help millions of Americans.

Later in the day, the Secretary Donovan talked with WSJ’s Nick Timiraos about HUD’s recent housing policy changes, the foreclosure crisis and the subsequent settlement.

Also, Derek Kravitz of the Associated Press penned, “Home builder optimism rises for fifth straight month.”

Secretary Donovan’s and AG Holder’s message to the American people on holding banks accountable was published by the Las Vegas Sun.
