Last night, during his State of the Union address, President Obama proposed a plan that would give responsible homeowners an opportunity to refinance their mortgages.  Mortgage interest rates today are the lowest in 50 years, so refinancing can provide substantial benefits to homeowners.  In the coming days, the President and his team will be unveiling the details of his plan for a broad based refinancing.
