President Obama is committed to helping small businesses grow and to putting more Americans back to work which is why on January 13, 2012, he announced a new plan that will make it easier to do business in America. At HUD, we are doing our part to help create jobs and grow the economy. One way we are doing this is through the Section 3 Business Registry , a pilot program that will expand job opportunities for low-income people and public housing residents by maintaining a registry of businesses that currently hire them.
