On January 5, 2012 President Obama launched Summer Jobs+, a joint initiative that calls for businesses, non-profits, and government to work together to provide pathways to employment for low-income and disconnected youth in the summer of 2012.

This is good news.

Summer Jobs+ demonstrates commitment and partnership between the Federal government and the private sector to help jumpstart America’s youth on positive career paths.

Young Americans looking for job opportunities will be able to go to Summer Jobs+ Bank , a search tool which will have postings from employers. Summer Jobs+ Bank will launch within 60 days.
