Secretary Donovan toured Palmer Court in downtown Salt Lake City Wednesday, where he saw firsthand the services that have helped Utah reduce chronic homelessness by 69 percent over the past five years.
In another Salt Lake City stop, Secretary Donovan toured the future site of a housing community that will connect families to housing and jobs through public transportation.
And in the last piece of news from the Beehive State, Secretary Donovan told The Salt Lake Tribune he is working to make sure aggressive bank practices don’t force people out of their homes.
Finally, this story from the Huffington Post illustrates the need to fight homelessness among LGBT youth, as well as the Obama Administration’s commitment to doing so.
